In the last red of the sun, devoted are my shadows.
I beheld the misty field of the moor,
saw silhouettes that whispered in the wind …
Old words of solitude.
Words of remembrance, of who I am,
my look turned to the blackened sky,
where the sun was dying …
She bled for me for the last time
and sunk into the eternal darkness.
The night opened her black wings
and the last light fell into her arms.
Whenever I see the dying sun, a part of me gets lost.
In my thoughts I remember the time when I felt her blaze.
I was alive with every breath as the sun died.
Now I am hidden from her pride and appreciate the dusk.
My spirit is lost in the kingdom of the night –
as the sun died in the arms of the night.
